Matt is all in for Bainbridge, GA! From being a Bainbridge Bearcat (Sr 89! Go Cats!)….to marrying a Bainbridge Girl, Tish Bryan Palmer, Matt is very involved in our community and loves to see the transformation and growth going on! Serving as past Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, River Town Days and the Bainbridge Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. He has previous board service with Grace Christian Academy and First Port City Bank. Matt is currently co chairman of the Bainbridge Country Club.

The agency has longstanding roots in the community and has served the needs of policyholders for many decades. Mr. Raymond Miles purchased the Pope Agency in 1960 and later acquired several other agencies and operated under Miles Insurance Agency. In 1984, George E Daniel, Jr purchased the agency from Mr. Miles and operated it until 1991 when the name was changed to Daniel Insurance Agency.
Matt Palmer began working in the agency in 1996 and purchased the agency from George Daniel, Jr in 2001. Our name was change to Palmer Insurance Agency in 2005. The agency has always addressed the needs of the policyholders with personal service and competitive prices.
